13:58 Zelenksy spills the blood of his own soldiers whilst civilians from Odessa gather to donate their's to the Ukraine wounded. Let that sink in.

@ruterockabilly Its surreal to me: I'd been following the conflict since 2014 and its just outrageous the narrative that the media is following: I split my time between the UK and Ireland and its the same in both countries: meanwhile an Irish coffee shop in Westmeath just received a huge electricity bill and have no idea why - and hey have the Ukraine flag on their media page. No awareness.

@ruterockabilly It's a pity. I go to Portugal a lot and I have to say there is something about the Portuguese that reminds me of the Russians - they seem similar in some ways - so it's kind of surprising to see Portugal's media and politicians take that stance. I guess that's the EU. Even "neutral" Ireland is getting involved in this madness.

@Светлана-ф4с8н I was wondering that myself, so I did a google search to find out after I left that comment: it turns out that the voice patterns and tones of Russian and Portuguese speech is so similar that (apparently) it even makes it difficult for Russians and Portuguese to differentiate. The article didn't explain why there is such a similarity, but it is noted as remarkable. Up until then I had thought the similarity was in the fact that both countries are former communist, so there would be still a remnant of that culture in both - maybe that's part of it, too. I was surprised to see that there is no ethnic link as there is such a similarity.

@amiralsrbani24 I didn't know that. Thanks - I was full sure there must have been some sort of genetic relationship between the two as they are so alike. Maybe the articles I read yesterday just didn't go deep enough. Thanks - that explains it.

@carlosipec2270 What on earth did I just read? Carlos - Portugal was a communist country - okay socialist - in the same way that Cuba is 'socialist'. Aren't you getting a little bit upset there, Carlos? Calm down.
