@TheOcarroll123 Russia stayed home for 8 years and tried diplomatically to put an end to the relentless attacks and shelling on east Ukraine during all that time. Even the Minsk peace agreement which Putin urged east Ukraine to sign up to didn't stop the attacks by the Ukraine military.

@TheOcarroll123 IF that was the case I would agree - but it's not. The Ukraine military has been attacking and shelling East Ukraine (which is mainly ethnic Russian) for 8 years now: it led to a brief war in 2014. The Minsk Peace Agreement was signed but Ukraine's army kept shelling East Ukraine, despite numerous diplomatic efforts by Russia to end these attacks. In February the Ukraine army intensified its shelling of East Ukraine and began amassing on the border: this time East Ukraine had had enough: East Ukraine invited Russia in to help them end this once and for all - and this time Russia agreed. That's what happened.

@ronwhitehouse23 Spiritually unprepared for death: that's my understanding of what she meant.

@ronwhitehouse23 I don't know, to be honest.

@TheOcarroll123 I know what msm is telling you. I don't know enough about Chechnya to comment on that but what happened in 2014 to the present day is clear cut, regardless of what msm is telling you: and the OSCE (international humanitarian body) has just released a report of wholesale torture and murder of civilians by Ukraine forces/azov/Right Sector and SBU. NATO is largely responsible for a lot of this, too - and tbh I agree completely with your comment at the end about innocent lives being needlessly lost on both sides.
