  1. The endgame was always to destroy Russia, then balkanise and plunder it (I read the Rand Corporation's 2019 paper on how they think the US could go about this). The Russians understand this and that's why its existential for them. I live in the UK, been following the conflict since 2014 and Russia is not the bad guy in all this.
