The conflict is 10 years old. Most people over here don't understand it. It began when Kiev forces started attacking East Ukraine, which is mainly ethnic Russian: in February 2022 Kiev intensified shelling and began amassing on the border. East Ukraine turned to Russia and asked them to help end this once and for all - and that's what Russia is doing. You should ask yourself why none of our media are talking about the 8 years that led up to this.

Not really depressing at all when you take into account the fact that we've been lied to about Ukraine/Russia from day one - by the very same people who lied about Iraq's WMDs and gave moral cover for the slaughter of 1 million people and the theft of Iraq's resources. This conflict started in 2014 when West Ukraine attacked , and kept attacking mainly ethnic Russian East Ukraine. E. Ukraine and Russia finally reacted in Feb 2014.

@noadlor I don't listen to propaganda: I do my own research and draw my own conclusions: maybe you should do that instead of listening to the same people who told you Iraq had weapons of mass destruction.

@C.Gibran Crimea voted to rejoin the Russian Federation after a series of attacks on ethnic Russian speakers which culminated in the massacre of Ethnic Russians in the Union Building in Odessa. They saw what was coming and voted overwhelmingly to rejoin Russia in order to protect them from Kiev. I'm amazed you don't know this.

Well, it's very consoling to see that, despite all the lies being told about Ukraine/Russia that businesses are not allowing themselves to be hoodwinked and are carrying on as normal. We have been lied to from day 1 about Russia/Ukraine by the same liars who told us Iraq had weapons of mass destruction. 1 million people were slaughtered over that lie. The Ukraine conflict began back in 20014 when Kiev forces began attacking and killing ethnic Russian in East Ukraine and it hasn't stopped. In Feb this year E, Ukraine and Russia had finally had enough. I'm glad to see that normal people and businesses are not allowing themselves to be fooled with the same lie from the same liars. Well done to them.
