As time goes by I become more and more disappointed at people and media outlets that I thought were sceptical of false main stream narratives.
50
It's just like a psychopath like him to call the elderly useless eaters when he himself has been one throughout his life.
25
Listening to this and just shaking my head. Al Qaeda rebranded has just rolled into Syria - and now Israeli tanks are moving towards Damascus, if they're not already there.
14
When you're Far Wrong you'll call everyone else Far Right.
12
Gonzalo Lira: look him up - nobody, including Democracy Now, seemed to want to talk about him.
11
True :/
9
Yep. His wealth, connections and status are of little worth, now.
8
This "evacuation" seems to be really part of a long-term plan to drive them all out. I guess this is why netanyahu looked so happy in the midst of the slaughter by hamas last week. He knew he could use it as an excuse to further his own goals.
6
The Nobel prize is a joke, anyway.
6
I still remember the time jeremy scahill refused to attend a debate during the war in Syria because a Syrian nun who he disagreed with was also going to be at the debate: I couldn't take him seriously after that.
5
Absolutely. Most people in Europe know who did it, but EU "leaders" are afraid to say it.
4
@goodtoGoNow1956 No - its more than you have - because repeating "Russian Troll" is literally all you have.
4
Gonzalo Lira.
4
Noam Chomsky. Sorry - but anyone who declared that the unvaccinated should be separated from society has nothing of value whatsoever to say about anything as far as I'm concerned. The fact that he's not even embarrassed in retrospect about having made that declaration is very revealing.
3
Yep: I remember biden saying that.
3
@joselacuadra7285 Unfortunately you've allowed yourself to be lied to. Russia was not the aggressor - do some research, starting with the violent overthrow in 2014 of Ukraine's elected government with the help of $5bn dollars from the US State Dept (they admit it themselves): you're being lied to by the same people who told you Iraq had weapons of mass destruction.
3
@goodtoGoNow1956 Is that the best you can do? You see a point you can't argue with and that's all you can offer. I guess you must know it's the truth otherwise you would have argued the point with some facts.
3
@theredscourge That's a lot of writing: with an ability like that maybe you should do some research on what actually happened in Ukraine, starting with the violent overthrow of his elected government in 2014 and the relentless attempts afterwards (through attacking East Ukraine) to goad Russia into a conflict. If Russia was the bad guy in all this I would be the first to say so: the countries that are pouring arms and money into Ukraine don't give a damn about that country and will be happy to see it completely destroyed just as long as it keeps fighting Russia. Ukraine chose it's side and followed orders to start attacking Donbass. The intention of the military industrial complex has always been to bring down Russia - they even openly admit it themselves - the last time in a paper that they released in 2019. Obviously Russia is not going to allow that to happen - and they've been warning western "leaders" this for the last 8 years not to use Ukraine against them. Now we're seeing the consequences. You don't give a damn about the people who live in that country.

I hope that some day people stop viewing doctors as gods.
3
You mentioned Europe. UK resident here. Its been cold, wet and windy for the last 3 weeks here: the rest of Europe is experiencing the same weather they experience every summer: with Britain and Ireland colder, wetter and windier than usual.
3
Lol, true.
3
Yep - and that's because our "leaders" all knew who did it and they were okay with that.
2
Lol The US attacked it's own NATO ally and Germany is just standing there with a big red, wet slap mark on it's face. Talk about Stockholm Syndrome.

@paddybrennan3644 I don't believe its bogus, Paddy. A few years ago my neighbour (an elderly lady) called emergency services because her husband had collapsed: she said he was "agitated" (English was not her first language): they sent the police, who bizarrely, just stood around him in a circle while he was on the ground. I saw that myself. None of them administered to him, they just stood there. When I went over to see if there was anything I could do, they made it clear to me that I was not wanted nor welcome on the scene. I then asked her if she needed any help and to let me know if there's anything I can do. I then made a remark at the police that they fully deserved before going back into my own home. The old guy was okay in the end but that was very bizarre.
2
@theredscourge Puppet? He was elected - the interests that benefitted were the ordinary people who voted for him. It took $5bn of US State Dept money to get Poroshenko in. Hardly the same interests if you were being honest. And rather than saying "I'm sure" about something - do your research, and then you'll be certain about these things.
2
@theredscourge Be specific: which candidates were bankrolled and by whom? Were they campaign contributions (which is done all over the world)? The State dept bankrolled a coup - that's a completely different thing. I think you're grasping at straws here and you're really wasting your own time.
2
@SONMINHTRAN1 I did my own research, you didn't - you rely on other people to tell you what to think - that's as naive as a person can get. The fact that you can't see it gives it another level of naive on top.
2
@archur111 I never knew much about his history, but certainly he must be a very dark character altogether to have made the comments he made - evil, I agree.
1
frederiquecouture5099 Thank you. TBH I used to be a fan of this guy, once.
1
Very shocked and disappointed at those 'Guardians of the Children', who appear to be now 'Guardians of the Cops who failed to be guardians of the children'. The behaviour of those bikers has now made me wary and suspicious of them.

There are opportunities for people to move to America legally by applying. The states can't absorb the amount of people who are illegally crossing. Governor Abbott practically begged the Biden admin to do something to help. They said no, so he has no choice but to take steps to protect the states. You can blame the drownings on a government that has been encouraging people to take this dangerous crossing.
1
Hey, Ukraine: looks like the US is throwing you under the bus....again. I can say the same thing to Germany, too.
1
They're rebels now, are they? Thank you for informing us of the rebrand, Democracy Now.
1
I think we've heard enough from "experts" like him who have been saying for the last 8 years that Putin's bluffing. He's not bluffing - and armchair experts like this guy (who have spent their entire lives in college) need to finally get it through their skulls once and for all.
1
I don't know why it's almost surreal watching those overweight donuts in uniform running around when we all know they just stood there doing nothing - apart from harassing, threatening, tasing and arresting parents who tried to go in there to save those children.
1
@tracyking6054 Nice one, Tracy: really nice remark to aim at someone who's bereaved and traumatised. What a loser. What a loser.
1
And to show you how truly sick this whole set-up was: female soldiers used to then go in to their cells and s*****y assault these torture victims as part of their torture. They were like animals: during both the bush and obama years.
1
True - also as part of their torture female soldiers used to then go in to their cells and s*****y assault them. They were like animals: during both the bush and obama years. I remember seeing an interview with one of these victims talking about how when he was recovering from having just been tortured a female soldier entered his cell, grabbed his......and photographed it. These animals used to do this (probably still do) and then compare photographs with each other as a big joke. They're savages.
1
Ukraine isn't able to negotiate: the leadership was handpicked by the US State Dept specifically because they were puppets willing to be used as a weapon against Russia. This has been going on since 2014 - They are doing exactly what the State Dept and the MIC want them to do.
1
@theredscourge You didn't do any research. You may want to find out who was funding those protestors. Remember that $5bn I spoke about. Dig deeper - you won't find your answers in CNN, fox, MSNBC or Sky. These are the same people who told you Iraq had WMDs. You really shouldn't believe liars with a long track record. Lol - Even Dwight Eisenhower warned about the military industrial complex in his last address as president.
1
@georgeodhiambo598 Overthrown by Ukrainians. You're going to have to do a lot better than that. Stop lying: the real reason he was removed in a violent US funded regime change was because the economic deal being offered by US/EU was not as good as that being offered by Russia and he decided to go with Russia. That's what "turning more towards Moscow" means. You're going to have to stop lying: again - you've made it clear you don't give one jot about thew Ukrainian people themselves.
1
@theredscourge I don't follow Russian media - by research I mean research: it only has one meaning. Argue your point with actual facts and figures - If you don't want to do that that's fine, but don't sit there swallowing everything that the same people who told you Iraq had WMDs stuff down your throat. If Russia was the bad guy here I'd be the first to say so. Do your own research.
1
@theredscourge Well, I'm glad you concede that I don't follow Russian media. I do my own research and lear things for myself. I said it before - if Russia was the bad guy in all this I'd be the first to say so. I hope you'll start doing your own research into this conflict. You're being lied to by the very same people who told us Iraq had WMDs. 1 million lives that lie cost - they also lied about Libya and Syria and they'll keep doling it for as long as people will listen. Even Dwight Eisenhower warned about these people in his last address as US president - and he knew what he was talking about.
1
This is a very disingenuous piece. DN would be well served doing a piece on the azov battalion, the Right Sector and other Banderite paries and groups who are involved in government and at all levels of the police and military in Ukraine. Awful stuff from Democracy Now which continues to disappoint.
1
For 8 years the Russians kept going to Macron and demanding that he help enforce the Minsk peace agreement that he helped broker because Ukraine forces kept shelling and attacking Donbass: Macron ignored them because nato wanted more time to build up Ukraine's military to more effectively attack Donbass and then Russia - Merkel admitted this recently in an interview. Macron, Merkel, nato, US - none of them can be trusted and they have proven that over and over again. Macron suddenly wants negotiations because this project backfired spectacularly on him and all the rest of them that were trying to use Ukraine as a weapon against Russia. He's a pawn and messenger boy, nothing more.
1
Don't smear ordinary people as Far Right. Travel over here and take a look at the state of countries in the EU and learn.
1
And to show you how truly sick this whole set-up was: female soldiers used to then go in to their cells and s*****y assault these torture victims as part of their torture. They were like animals: during both the bush and obama years.

To date boris has been the very worst pm we've ever had - truss is continuing that trend: and unfortunately the last 2 years have proven that the other main parties are no different.

Exactly.
