I spent 10 yrs in the RAF, I didn't drink much, but I screwed a lot, this affected my career more than alcohol to be honest, one can only assume it was based on jealousy, when I left I ended up running 5 pubs (I grew up in one) again, I didn't drink much & I felt terrible making friends with customers I was basically serving them poison, I still drink (max 2 pints) but not every day, my motto is 'all in moderation', apart from sex, get as much of that as you can as you never know when it'll end 😉🤣
