  1. Kids are very high maintenance. You need activities every day. When we lived in London we took the kids to protests quite often. It's a nice day outdoors. It's usually a family-type environment. For the kids it's like joining in a parade. They get to make as much noise as they can. I've never seen any kind of violence at any of the protests I happen to have participated in
