  1. Hopefully if Putin dies, Lavrov or someone very capable will take over the position. Stability is the important thing. Putin has brought his country from neoliberal shock therapy devastation to prosperity in a very few decades, so his would be a great loss to Russia. I doubt he is gravely ill tho because the West loves to obsess about Putin. Not sure what the attraction is
