Even though Israel is our closest ally, best friend however the US should be objective on being outside mediator for a two-state solution. Both sides are stuck in old attitudes and assumptions without squeaky clean hands! Foreign aid needs to cut across the board esp. Israel and Palestine. It's a grift for both sides to swindle American taxpayers into extortion and a racket.
