@ottobaron6392 I'm not engaging in ad hominem attacks! You're the one strawmanning! I don't have to like Putin, Assad as human beings in order to achieve peace and prosperity! US is not the world's policeman, nation-builder. There are constitutional mechanisms for engaging in foreign policy--consulting Congress, issue letters of marque and reprisal, etc. Yes we're on the same page that America shouldn't be involved in the Middle East or anywhere for that matter without declaration/authorization from either Congress or UN which I'm not a fan. It allows back to FDR creating the backdoor blueprints framework for the MIC! Even though President Carter's failings were the help of his deceased ex-national security advisor, Zbigniew Brzezinski aiding and abetting the Mujahideen in order to fight the Soviets even before they invaded Afghanistan! Plus Carter's other calculated error was escalating the Indonesian genocide of East Timor.

@Warlanda Look every US president makes mistakes they later regret even with the best intentions however a shadow government runs behind the scenes via the deep state. It's not who's sitting in the throne it's the one who rules behind the throne!

@ottobaron6392 Cuz' handful of anti-war non-establishment voices in alternative independent news media despite their tiny bias would rather have Assad stay in power. Of course of President Bashar Al-Assad invited Vladimir Putin for a conjoined effort to crush ISIS despite the Russians being there for the oil pipeline.

@ottobaron6392 Nice strawman argument. I'm principled with strong real convictions about being anti-war. I do believe diplomacy needs to reached each, every way. Non-interventionist peace-through-strength is the constitutional prerogative to go always. I have developed multidimensional thinking since seeking common interests with both allies, adversaries keeps certainty in an uncertain world.
