I don't understand why your four measurements adding up to more than 2 proves Bohr's argument Your card example seemed like hocus pocus.

No pun intended but read your lengthy answer and the light is still dim. Not a criticism intended since I've gone through many videos in past 10 days. My comment was meant to be helpful in context of the video's content. Thank you for taking the time to answer my comment. I watch a lot of Science/Technology videos mainly to observe the teaching style. I have an application in mind.

It's normal in Science to morph an existing idea rather than invent something out of whole-cloth. Eventually the morphed idea is renamed into some name that embodies what the new idea is about. The use of the word 'information' to mean the 'embodiment description' of something like objects entering say a black hole is a poor word choice because 'information' is far too ambiguous a word for the use of it in Physics. I recommend replacing the use of 'information' with a less ambiguous term.

Words are not really information but rather an intermediate step in transferring the thoughts of some humans to other humans. Information, for humans, is the use of the senses to interpret reality. A physicist's use of the word 'information' means the attributes of something which have little to do with words or use of human senses. The word 'attribute' is more appropriate for the use that physicists use 'information' but even the word 'attribute' is inadequate for the intended meaning that physicists mean in their use of 'information'.

Are you really certain the order is Big Bang then Inflation: how do you know the order is not Inflation then Genesis (i.e. Big Bang)? That is, the relationship between order and disorder becomes clearer once Science describes the Standard Model of Space/Time. And chucks irreverent ideas like String theory.

I've always had a problem buying in to the idea of entropy being the whole story. Sounds like another version of the Big Bang fairytale. Now, explain to me how Order just appears so we can have entropy? Something missing in the Science fairytale.
