  1. I love to watch someone work with excellence. The young lady here has an unusual gift and has worked on and developed that gift. Kudos to her and inspiration to the rest of us. Here on You Tube I've watched clips of the T.V. series "Mad Men" and I was thinking the typist here would have been the top typist at the Sterling Cooper agency!

  2. I took typing my frreshman year of high school, maybe before I was ready for such a class. I didn't understand the importance of the skill or know how to think long-term. It's the if-I-knew-then-what-I-know-now situation. Still I'm thankful for what I did learn, can type fast and got a job in which I typed peoples comments as they were speaking.

  3. It would be interesting to know more about Stella (I didn't quite understand her last name) the typist here. Her brain must have worked extra fast. I wonder how fast she could read, whether a letter at work or simply a book for enjoyment.

  4. Just a guess on my part, but I would say the talent and ability are out there, but just not known or used by those who have it. Maybe those people haven't had the opportunity to discover their abilities.
