I remember this song when it was new. I was maybe 9 when I first heard "She's a Lady" but loved it though was not able to fullly appreciate it. L.B. Robinson, with his own style and interpretation, has done a superb job of bringing this song into a new era for a new generation.

To listen to and to watch Sally's performance along with the performances of the musicians is to be blessed.

@hihi-nc6xm You're a move ahead of me, PDI! I was going to recommend "The Queen's Gambit". I can imagine that if Beth saw that chess piece she'd have something to say about it!

@zogzog1063 Your comment reminded me of the novel "Honorable Men" by Louis Auchincloss. Part of the book is told by one of the characters who plays bridge with a group of other ladies, one of whom has a husband who is a fantastic bridge player. On one occasion the husband shows the narrator how to better her game and the text was about how through the afternoon the man went through "...hand after hand..." and "opened a whole new dimension of the game. If Chessie was a brilliant player he was still more brilliant as a teacher". All I play is solitaire but that inspired me to become as goood as I can be at it. You might enjoy the Hercule Poirot mystery, starring David Suchet,"Cards on the Table" that is about a murder that happens during a bridge game.

What a privilege and an honor for those in the studio to be there with Dame Judi for this glorious live performance of the work of Shakespeare.
