  1. Some women do get it. I was reading a book by the actress-turned-author Louise Brooks and she married and divorced two wealthy men and took nothing from them though she could have. I don't recall her exact words, but Ms. Brooks said something about it being wrong to end a marriage and then expect to be supported by the ex-husband. It might be said she was a woman who thought like a man.
