I've been a housesitter in the past, took care of dogs, cats, fish but if someone wanted me stay in their home while they are away and they have a pit bull: forget it! I won't accept that responsibility or put myself in danger.

Women own pit bulls too. I remember the case of the woman owned two pit bulls which killed and partially ate her. One of the woman's friends, referring to the dogs said, don't '...kill the babies". " Amazing.

@bohemoth1 Thank you! I appreciate YOUR common sense. It's sad that you have to do it but you're wise in making preparations for the trouble you can see ahead with your neighbor's dog.

@stormykeifer3118 I think there is something of a pit bull look: the eyes and the the placement of the eyes on the skull, the shape of the skull. The colors seem atypical of a pit bull but I think that is part of the dog's background.

I have to disagree: clearly the owner of the dog wasn't making good decisions before the dog attack and can't be trusted to do so afterward.
