  1. Something I see in the print media is people who are black are described as "Black" with an upper-case "B". People who are brown are "Brown" with an upper-case "B" while people who are white are "white" with a lower-case "w". A local magazine was called out for that in the editorials and there was a lame reply that some manual of style somewhere says that's the way to do things. Reminds of "I was just following orders".
