  1. I only know them through books and videos such as this but I love the Empress liners. What an experience it must have been to sail aboard one of them. Great to see this video and having it in color makes it even better. I watched to see the Empress but enjoyed the entire presentation. Thank you for sharing this!

  2. Interesting that early in the program the narrator refers to the Queens as sister ships. It may have been John Maxtone-Graham, who has written such excellent books about ocean liners, that said the Queen Mary and Queen Elizabeth would more accurately be called consorts as the two liners had noticeable differences in their appearances but both were or are great beauties of the sea.
