  1. I'm surprised I've never heard of this family before. Maybe they were less public than some of the other Gilded Age wealthy families. So many beautiful homes here, but the one I like best is the country house seen from the air. A simple, beautiful, grand house and with space to be a working, self-sufficient farm or at least nearly so.
