  3. I had the experience some years back of having to be professionally involved with someone who turned out to be a pathological liar. I found out that for him, conning people and lying was just natural and was simply who and what he was and probably still is. This man didn't seem to have any trouble going through life deceiving or trying to deceive people. Maybe he even believed his lies while he was lying. I don't understand it--- or want to understand it.
