  1. Cash, you've turned me into a more discerning viewer. The first apartment is a dud. As Ilya mentioned below it's really a divided studio apartment. It's mostly better-than-nothing. The bedrooms are more sleeping compartments than bedrooms. For two people to live there and spend much time together it would be a strain. Second apartment: not bad! A huge improvement over the first.
