  1.  @sinash  Well said! I recently turned 30---for the second time! With arthritis and circulatory trouble I'd have no interest in using one of those ladders more than a few times a year. For me those lofts would be to store items used only rarely.

  2. Either of these two apartments would work well for me but I lean toward the second one. The second one has all those shelves in that long, low close. I could use that space for a library/book storage area though I would do my reading by the window.
