  1. I'd say both apartments are equally good for the person living alone and for roommates. Being from a small town (we lived in the city limits but had a soybean field behind our house!) I'm a little off-kilter seeing a view higher than the third floor and not having woods and fields and trees or some combination thereof. I'm old enough now that living alone doesn't appeal to me the way it did when I was young so for safety and for company I'll take the two-bedroom.
