  1. Odd to walk into the apartment and face a kind of dead space and a large one at that. Might have been a good location for the bathroom or to have had the kitchen further back. I agree with one and earlier comment: the dead space could be a storage and home office area. Some curtains or a screen could make it into a separate room.
