Some great stuff in the neighborhood and the apartment. I have some trouble with loft apartments: there is so much unused air space and you still have to pay for the heating and cooling. Even if the loft area here was to be extended, how far can it be extended? How do you clean the windows at the top of the loft? This one doesn't quite work for me but I have a hunch it's going to be great for someone who will love living there.

@wombat5252 Not being ridiculous. I'm thinking about things such as airborne grease from the stove getting onto the glass; condensation on the glass during cold weather and possibly mold forming around the windows. I figure that even up high there will eventually be dust on the sills. Too if there are residents who smoke there will eventually be nicotine on windows and walls along with most everything else.

@wombat5252 Maybe someone else is but, I'm not willing to live in a space that requires a ladder indoors for cleaning windows. Then there's the matter of getting the ladder: buy it and store or borrow it...from where? I have better things to do than bother with the logistics that go with impractical windows.
