  1. Cash mentioned the red and blue subway lines. Suddenly I remembered the Blondie song "Union City Blue" from the "Eat to the Beat" album. Maybe minor for some peopel but how can you comfortably use a stove/oven when it's right againt the wall on one side? Imagine stirring something on one of those left-hand side burners. You would have to do it from an angle. For cooking, space is needed on either side.
