United Nations Security Council Resolution 1244 authorised an international civil and military presence in the Federal Republic of Yugoslavia. Russia voted in favor of the operation just six months before Putin succeeded Boris Yeltsin. No one voted against. China abstained.

@thomasneal7339 I don't think they needed a false flag at the time. Ground forces are (still ongoing) all continental Europeans. Muslim population did cheer for NATO, because of the Srebrenica massacre.

@thomasneal7339 In this case, they speak the same language, so it was Orthodox versus Catholics which ended in 1995. Serbia has officially applied for European Union membership.

@thomasneal7339 Defund the police? My point was, if they were both Catholics, it wouldn’t count as ethnic cleansing despite a million victims. Ukraine also has some ingredients of civil war. Failed coup compared to succesful Thai coup d'état in 2014. I can more easily understand the conflict between Albanians and Serbs.

@thomasneal7339 As I said, I don't think they needed a false flag, because Operation Deny Flight was a sustained air campaign. Bill Clinton promised a "lift and strike" policy during his 1992 campaign, which included the use of air strikes against Bosnian Serb forces. The Ground forces are German and non-NATO Austrians and Finnish cops. Serbia is a cultural center and geographically Western Europe.

@padzzz9377 They applied 13 years ago under Mirko Cvetković. The CIA does not appear to be in a hurry, even though Serbia is located west of NATO. Serbians will need to register online for a travel authorization in 2022.

I think using chemical weapons is fine. I don’t understand why it’s somehow worse than a bolt-action rifle, both are WW1 weapons. I sympathize with NATO, not Putin.

Amen. Belarus and a third of Russia supported the Finnish hockey team. Democracy is unequivocally good for your own wallet. They don't want sweat shops. It's not a conspiracy.
