  2. @Majime I am a 40 years old child. However, Halsti was right that Finland did not immediately become democratic in 1917, but as late as the 1970s, the president had dictatorial rights. And eventually democratized in the 1980s. https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Urho_Kekkonen#Term_extension_(1973)

  3. @Majime I am sure that Stalin's Soviet Union was even more cruel than the current North Korea. Halsti was pro-democracy, just stating the facts of life.
