I don’t live in Detroit because I don’t like that city. If Russians don’t enjoy living in Ukraine, you might want to travel to Russia. Simple. Russia is about 45 times larger than Japan. There is room for more than one buffer.

Zelensky was elected in 2019. Hitler was a Nazi. Supporting is not the same thing as being. For example, the USSR supported Urho Kekkonen. He introduced a swastika at the Defense Forces Flag Day Parade in Helsinki on Senate Square on June 4, 1958. That does not mean Nikita Khrushchev was like Hitler or even Neo-Nazi.

@danutahanyga4834 What about Sulo Suorttanen under Kekkonen. He had no connection to Nazism? I think Kekkonen was a double agent, therefore supporting him was a mistake. MiG fighters were obtained almost for free. Kekkonen was indeed a neo-Nazi. In the USA, racial segregation ended in 1948. The Finnish army did not even have African units, but was 100% Nordic until 1982.

@danutahanyga4834 Fair enough. I served in the Finnish army. I think a significant difference compared to the 1970s, since women and Africans were accepted, as in the United States.
