@seanmac1793 Finland also raised overall taxes to 28% and made cash useless by literally cutting the banknotes in half (1945-46), during the Mannerheim administration. People were able to own land and real estate, but they had to do a lot of communal work.

@Legolas3111 I would say the Nazi party ideology was Big tent, Centrism, Social conservatism, National conservatism, German nationalism and Statism, which is socialism. By no means a far-right movement, rather center-left wing.

Hydroginn1 In my opinion the USSR achieved communism, when they implemented the collectivization of its agricultural sector. At least the Mensheviks and the Nazis cooperated temporarily, even though they did not achieve decollectivization.

@ThomasAllen90 To my understanding, just a couple of decades ago, most of Lower Burma was not industrialized. So the real question is whether you own your (home) farm or not. The Mensheviks did not have the power and will to collectivize as much as the Bolsheviks did in Soviet Russia.

@jamestheotherone742 I think that the same result can be achieved in many ways. Corruption is capitalism and therefore works better than total state control. However, socialism works as long as the people can understand the rules. Therefore, the rules must be designed according to the average national IQ. Stalin took socialism too far, as we can see today in North Korea.

The British Empire may have been the most backward at that time. This is highly apparent in the downtown Helsinki, which was rebuilt in the neoclassical style to resemble Saint Petersburg. Although a propaganda video, people and buildings are genuine. Less than a year after the execution of the Romanov family, the order has been restored: https://youtu.be/Wcfy0VIXGdE

@scotttracy9333 That is also a historical distortion. Chamberlain was clearly a hawk, but not as crazy as Churchill.
