@IndSovU At least in Finland some officers are representatives of a trade union, but mostly university educated managers. Non-commissioned officers are fifty-fifty small business owners and workers.

Because they don't want to fight. As a result, millions of Germans surrendered. Why should they continue to fight indefinitely, like Afghans with no sovereignty.

@randomguy-tg7ok Is that a Sabaton song? However, they never even touched the Salpa line, therefore democracy and the rule of law were preserved, thanks in part to the (fallen) Germans.

@QuizmasterLaw The Philippines is more dangerous than China if pollution is not taken into account, but you are right that the Northern campaign (Irish Republican Army) 1942-44 would be a short video. Btw. in 2013 German TV 2 announced it would no longer carry reruns of the most boring show, after it emerged that Horst Tappert had joined the infamous 3. SS-Panzergrenadier-Division Totenkopf, then deployed on the Eastern Front, in March 1943.
