People from African backgrounds were given the right to vote in the 1960s. You wouldn’t even know who they were without the existence of races.

  8.  @lukewarme9121  Republican roots are in Democratic party, due to large scale party switching in the 1960s. According to my definition Fulgencio Batista was a fascist. He made a coup d'etat by seizing the Presidency Obviously, Reagan won a fair election. Even if Hitler had been Buchanan's father, it would not matter.

  9.  @lukewarme9121  Republican nominee Ronald Reagan defeated incumbent Democratic president Jimmy Carter in a landslide victory, which is proof of party switching. A bit off-topic, but those who were born in Finland just a couple of years after the Russian Civil War wore a gray jacket. I suspect in US Army use, Blue field uniforms were in fashion 1865-1898. Pat Buchanan graduated long after, in the 1960s.

  13. Ronald Reagan was classified for limited service only due to his poor eyesight. Perhaps the real reason was his value as a propagandist. As isolationists, they also criticized the Vietnam War.
