  1.  @МихаилЧерников-п2т  If traitors are not included, brigadier general Aleksei Vinogradov and Major-General Ernst Schacht are my favorites. Vinogradov asked permission to withdraw at the right time, but was denied. They were young and talented officers under a repressive regime, both were posthumously rehabilitated.
