@lotus95t To my understanding, the Germans destroyed more than they initially calculated (248/240). According to the Germans, 60 divisions would remain, but the Soviet Union had 100 extra divisions of its own, and another 60 divisions thanks to lend-lease. It's not possible to destroy 220 Soviet divisions without unconventional warfare.

I disagree..French and Dutch troops are worse. The Regular Italian Army is undervalued. Militia is a different matter.

@HavanneZ Well, anti-partisan operation in East Karelia is quite boring. After more than a month of fighting, 120 Soviet partisans out of 638 returned from the expedition.

@HavanneZ I am not opposed to the EU, but technically Finland is not an independent state. Especially considering the Russian Civil War, it can be argued that Finland cannot exist without Gustaf Mannerheim.

There was no failure in the South. They went there and came back. A tank division does not mean that every man sits in a tank. At least the 5th SS Panzer Division tried to seize the oil wells in Grozny.
