  9.  @idkm8952  Afghans defeated the Red Army. That's why I switched to a broader term mujahideen to make it equal. For example, some Yemeni troops had kar98k in 2014. Overall, the Germans won by k / d ratio of 2 to 1, so surely some post-war group is even worse performing than the SS. My initial gut reaction was spot on.

  13.  @TigerBaron  "blamed it all on the germans until the end of communism" While not everything was revealed after Stalin’s death, over the decades, the USSR admitted many of their crimes. Once Politburo makes a statement (intoxicated or not), it's difficult to put it back in the bottle, at least in printed form. According to some Russians, being Ukrainian seems to nullify all their statements.
