  1.  @93hickey  You'll forget the 144-year period of British rule in Singapore. Hong Kong was also a colony of the British Empire. And it was not until 1994 that the last Russian troops left Estonia (Russians make up 24.8% of the total population). As a result, the country was never burdened by old, legacy technologies. They all do well because people shape their neighborhood, as they like.
