In my opinion, if authoritarian and "revolutionary" politics continues for a very long time, it can no longer be considered radical. For example, Cuba has supported Russia since 1941.
"During the 2014 Crimean crisis, Cuban Foreign Minister Bruno RodrÃguez condemned what he called "hypocrisy, double standards and aggression" by Washington DC and NATO over the overthrow of the pro-Russian government in Ukraine, and warned against any attempt to extend NATO's reach to Russia's borders considering it a flagrant violation of international law and the Charter of the United Nations and a threat to world peace, security and stability"
"Cuba entered World War II on the side of the Allies on December 9, 1941, declaring war on Japan two days after the attack on Pearl Harbor. On December 11, the Batista government declared war on Germany"
