When my mum passed away, 2yrs after my dad...the months of work to empty out, find homes, give away, sell a few things and dump a heap of stuff to empty her house for sale was a huge journey for me! And I thought, I won't leave all that for my kids, so I had a big clear out... but I notice we still do buy stuff, that new airfryer, bread maker (even though I have been able to kneed dough and put it in a Dutch Oven and bake in my oven all this time)....things creep up and fill the cupboards again, so yearly, we need a regular declutter. I've watched a lot of shows on the "Swedish Death Cleaning"... and it's a great way to live.. clutter free. Regular declutters are the only way to go...and assess the purchases you make, big or small!!

  2. Put blankets on the beds!! Put 2 spare for extra winter warmth in a slide drawer under the beds... but who needs a 'blanket collection'!!!???? Crazy!! Excessive buying is a craze for sure...and that skinny, skinny girl in black with her 'Huge Shopping Haul'...looks like she should have spent that money on a food shop!!!!

  3. Heck yeah!!! Anything can become addictive, if it gives you a lift, you get a 'buzz' at the time but soon need to do it again to get 'that feeling' rather than shopping because you actually Need something!!.. yep, its an addiction, and when you're over spending on things and are unable to pay 'real' needs (food, rent, electric and gas bills, etc!)..its a PROBLEM ADDICTION!!
