  1. Ive been changing my own oil since I’m 17 years old and now I’m 58. A few times I did not do it myself and a quick lube place didn’t put my oil filter on tight enough and it fell off. Never again. I now change my 100% synthetic oil every 5k miles or one year whatever comes first. My current car is a 2002 Lexus ES300 just turned 171k miles. It burns about 1/2 quart every 5k miles, to me that’s totally acceptable Great video AMD. You’re a Super Honest mechanic
