When I bought my 1 owner 2002 Lexus ES300 I put the vin into Lexus owners website and saw it was serviced at a local Lexus dealership thru 110k miles including a valve cover replacement, water pump, timing belt change at 88,000 miles. Also did a autocheck and saw the history. It had one minor accident, rear drivers side quarter panel. Nothing to worry about. Mechanically the car is amazing. I change the oil myself every 5k miles w Pennzoil high mileage full synthetic. Last spring I had the rear spark plugs and ignition coil packs changed. All DENSO parts. I did the front three myself. I keep a spreadsheet of all my service records with costs including the records of the original owner at the Lexus dealership. Just turned 174 miles. I get 30 mpg on straight highway miles and about 17-19 mpg around town. Best is it doesn’t burn any oil within 5k miles !
