  1. I'm a borderline boomer and I have learned to start letting things go. Even if you have a really valuable large collection of a certain item from say a franchise, it's pointless if you die and nobody gets to enjoy it. Unless you will it to someone, and that someone wants it, it's going to be donated, stolen by family or possibly even trashed. Large collections aren't easy to sell either. It would take you years to sell it bit by bit. So get started selling right now because of of the things you see in these collections will take 20 years to sell. Nobody buys entire collections. Enjoy life, don't obsess over anything. You're only here for a minute and then you are gone. I had serious issues with obsessing over collections and finally starting to learn how to deal with it and let them go for someone else to enjoy. I mean seriously, how many years do you need to simply stare at the same objects 24/7?

  2. When you have collections you constantly think about them, dote over them, and so on. It'd actually stressful. Once you start to let much it go you feel so much better. I mean you can still have a few things related to the collection, but why amass enormous amounts of the same thing?
