All of these shows are done by actors. Their backstory's are fabricated. Their relationships are, etc. None of this is actually true. It's just entertainment. These are the sorts of acting jobs actors get when they are trying to break out into the big time. Many of these people even have IMDB profiles where they are listed as actors. Of course it seems real because they take their acting roles seriously. After all they do want to get bigger roles/gigs.
