@manynumeritos It has been a volcano for a long time. It might've been a dormant or "sleeping" volcano, but it was still a volcano.

@scottbrown7073 It surprised me about 25 years ago how many English people (as opposed to British people not from England) didn't think Australia was an independent country. They still thought that Australia bowed to Westminster, and Westminster could overrule Australian laws. I was even asked questions like "If Australia decided to rebel against England, what side of the barricades would I be on?" 😂 It was like these people had never heard of the Westminster Act and Australia Act, let alone understood the significance of 1901.

@iwishtobetexan6060 It's the cops NOT arresting the right people beforehand that didn't stop the massacres. How are the police supposed to determine whether or not this kid's threats are serious? They cannot, and it's not their job to make that determination - it's the job of the court to determine that.

Remember the big Hawaiian eruption not many years ago? There were fruitloops in the YouTube comment sections suggesting that houses could be built on stilts so the lava goes underneath ... I wonder what they'd think after seeing this video?
