  1. Many years ago I visited the wreck of a RAAF Lincoln which crashed into Mt. Superbus in the Main Range, Queensland, back in the 1950s. Sadly it was on a mercy mission taking a sick baby and its mother to hospital in Brisbane - lost in cloud and not really knowing where they were, the crew descended resulting in CFIT and the loss of all on board.
