  1. One has to wonder about the efficacy of the justice system imposed immediately after the war. Here's a guy who had command responsibility for the Buchenwald camp, and is sentenced to life imprisonment, which is quickly commuted to 20 years. But, three years after being sentenced he is walking free. One wonders what the Jewish people thought of that.
