  3. It may be that "Conscription" is more of a British term when referring to men who in US parlance are "drafted". Conscription was certainly the term used in Australia (then part of the British Empire) - incidentally where the people voted against conscription during WW2, so it didn't happen.

  5. That's easy ... plenty of books cover that story. Also, it's a "main stream", well-known story; whereas Dr Felton's videos tend to cover the lesser-known stories.
