@pagodebregaeforro2803 Ryan Michael doesn't sound like what many people would regard a nazi name at all.

@Ryan Michael Just so that I am clear on your position: is it correct that you would have preferred Hitler, Mussolini, and Tojo to have won WW2?

@Ryan Michael Well at least you are honest about your stance on this issue. There are plenty of your countrymen who take an opposite approach to combatting socialism in the USA by arguing that the word "Nazi" includes "Socialist", and from that they claim that the Nazis were leftists. I suspect that this is an attempt to discredit the Democratic Party and the 46th President of the United States. As for me, I prefer a world not ruled by Nazis or Communists (both systems have succeeded in getting a lot of people killed), noting that I live in one of those so-called "communist" Western World countries that provides subsidised health care to its citizens. The current path of subjugation by China is not really due to the infiltration of communist ideals in Western society. It's more a result of Western greed. Westerners want the latest toys, immediately, and at the cheapest possible price. China saw this desire and stepped up to make itself the world's manufacturing hub to offer all sorts of products quickly and cheaply. The income from this has allowed it to pursue its "Belt and Road Initiative" where it invests in key infrastructure in many Western countries and offers assistance to developing countries. The West got so greedy for "fast and cheap" that it took its eye off the ball after defeating the USSR, and now China - with its much longer term view of world affairs - has the West over a barrel. Edit: correction of grammatical errors.

@nizam8674 Yes, indelibly etched in the memory of many people who've not been anywhere near Crotia - massed artillery shelling civilians, snipers picking off unarmed people ... and those were some of the "less horrendous" things we heard about. Some things were so horrendous that they just couldn't be reported in the papers. Terrible events.

@Brecconable Given the way you have obviously misread my comment, you should try sharpening up your reading comprehension skills - there are online courses which can help with that. Or just re-enroll at junior high school. Firstly, nowhere did I claim that Communists had not infiltrated Western society - there are obviously plenty of Communists at work in Western society. But what I did state is Western greed as a primary reason for China's meteoric rise as an economic and political power. Secondly, my comment states why China can flex its influence via the Belt and Road Initiative, and nothing in my comment defends the BRI. The negative impacts are why some countries (those who can afford to do so) are either tearing up BRI agreements or declining to enter into them in the first place. As for the Nazis and at which end of the political spectrum they reside, consider the following: a) intelligence agencies keep a watch on them as far-Right extremists, not far-Left extremists; and b) the Nazis are actively recruiting Trump followers who are disillusioned after their leader's failure on 6-1 ... why would the Nazis do that if they were leftists? "Go figure", as the Americans say ...
