If they had any sense when asked, they would claim to have Waldheimer's Disease - named after that famous sufferer, Kurt Waldheim - which is a disease affecting one's memory of what one did between 1939 and 1945.

@jb6027 Grizzly demise? Is that because someone killed him with their bear hands?

Probably the same person who did likewise for the Red Baron ... dug him up four times, according to a video by Dr. Felton.

I'm sure Elvis has been seen in Paraguay, too!

@stormythelowcountrykitty7147 How did we learn that? Or are you about to state yet another conspiracy theory?
2
@Ob1sdarkside It's why I find it difficult to have anything to do with them nowadays.

Dr Felton produced a video about a year ago examining that very topic. It featured Gudrun Himmler, etc.

But the sky in Berlin would've been full of smoke. It was a war zone. Visibility at night, regardless of the moon, wouldn't have been good.

@dougerrohmer Or something a bit more educational? How about spank them and make them stand in the corner while reciting their "thirteen times" table? This has shades of the Castle Anthrax scene in Monty Python And The Holy Grail ...

Well, there's the answer then. If it's shown in Downfall then that's how it happened ...

@bobjohnson8970 That's the form of unarmed combat where they're issued with a pair of bear front feet?
1
@christophermiller2133 He used Die Glocke to make the departure date?

It was not German to the region it was found in?

Hands tied behind hands? "Hey, Marty, lend me a hand here will you?" "And now everyone, let's hear a big hand for Marty!"

There are skull collectors out there? I never knew that. What are they called ... Yorickers?
1
But that book is about someone else, not Martin Bormann.
1
That's because people use Die Glocke (which they borrowed from Martin Bormann) to go back in time and watch it.
1
@ahmadfarrall2097 Dr. Felton produced a video about a year or so ago on the "Nazi princesses" and IIRC Martin Bormann's children are mentioned there.

@scotland638 It's entertaining, and it gives people something to wonder about. It's just like UFOs - people like to have something mysterious to believe in. BTW, humans are hard-wired for this sort of thinking. Evidence is the fact that our forebears designed religions - they couldn't explain or predict all of the events in their world, so they invented mysterious and powerful supreme beings to fill the explanatory gap.

If Hollywood made the picture, then only the Americans would be looking for him ... no-one else.
1
How so?
1
That's a different person, so you might have better luck finding them!

Juliane Koepcke (who at 17 survived the mid-air disintegration of LANSA Flight 508 over the Peruvian jungle, stated in her book that her father did the same, and ended up in South America.

Ah, 60 Minutes ... that paragon of truth, investigative journalism, and non-sensationalist coverage ... 🤣

Maybe after a year of the quiet life he changed his name to Boredmann?

They are masters of the intrigue, that's for sure. Even nowadays they haven't forgotten how to obfuscate.

Apparently the Vatican helped a lot of people to escape. Maybe they didn't care who it was at the time?

I've never understood it either. But regardless of the explanation (or lack of it), it gives me one more good reason why I don't bother going to church on Sundays any more.
