@SurferJoe1 They'd also claim that the Nazis were to have used Die Glocke to travel back in time to fetch Nostradamus in order for Hitler to meet him, but Nostradamus was unable to make the rendezvous due to unforeseen circumstances.

And the History Channel version will be: "Did Mark Felton use Die Glocke to travel back in time to interview top Nazis?"

@BJJISTHEGAYPARTOFMMA Interesting view. He did start WW2. That sounds fairly "main" in deeds, at least.

@jacquesmertens3369 You haven't heard of the book and subsequent movie, Bridget Hitler's Diary ?

@daleburrell6273 Do y'all have to holler like that each time y'all answer?

@Jonathanbegg Germany alone could be his bride? Til death do us part ...

@daleburrell6273 Why? Is the CapsLock key busted, or you don't know where it is, or you just like hollering? Or maybe you're Ayott-holler Khomeini?

How reliable is the GI's account, and how did he conduct this corroboration in order to check the woman's claim? Plenty of GIs wrote or talked about stuff and got it wrong - you can hear it in oral histories, videos on YouTube, etc, where during the time they were in Europe they claim one thing is happening when something else was actually happening.

@jon112785 Sounds like this French woman who has been telling this story from the beginning told it to yet another person, who in this case turned out to be a British soldier from the Royal Engineers. There's no telling that the story wasn't embellished or even made up from the very first time she told it. This sort of thing reminds me of a state politician in my country who was sprung for falsely claiming he was a former Olympic athlete. It all started when he was asked during an interview by a reporter (who had got her stories mixed up) - she thought he had made the Olympic squad but he had only tried out for it, and never actually competed. For some reason that he himself couldn't later explain, he said "Yes" when she asked if he had competed at the Olympics. And then he kept telling that story whenever he was asked about the Olympics. He was eventually found out when someone did some checking, which was very embarrassing for all concerned.

@Psychol-Snooper The Pillar Of Fire is difficult to follow under water ...

@BJJISTHEGAYPARTOFMMA My mistake - I thought we were discussing Hitler from a viewpoint of his impact on real life - an ongoing impact to this day, even though the vast majority of those alive at the time are now dead. What movie was being discussed? I didn't see anyone mention a movie ... reviewing the comments just now shows that. Who mentioned a movie and what movie was it?

@crewleaderprods Hmmm, clearly Elrond means if your name is Moran then education is for you.

@Elrond_Hubbard_1 I don't recall any of my teachers having the surname Moran. But I guess some teachers would have that surname.
