@tpl608 Yep. The generation who always demanded their parents drop them off or pick them up from school or anywhere else ... instead of catching public transport, riding a bike, or even walking.

@wtxrailfan I have a question for people like that: where were they on 1/6? Were they at the Capitol attempting to save their country, or did they chicken out and expect someone else to do the heavy lifting? These people call themselves patriots ... but it's a good thing that much braver people stood at Lexington and Concord on April 19, 1775.

@catmarrco7863 Yep, apparently ThotSlayer was a really nice person until 1/6, and on the very next school day they were immediately indoctrinated. That's how quick those Democrats infiltrate the school system. But don't worry too much about it - in 3 years and 2 months (who's counting?), Orange Roughy will be back in the White House and ThotSlayer will be immediately deprogrammed and turned straight back into being a really nice person.

A WW2 vet once told me that the radios used for Operation Market Garden were fitted with crystals for the wrong channels so units meant to link up couldn't talk to each other. Some people on the Allied side must have had a very enjoyable war: being paid to make mistakes while knowing their lives wouldn't be on the line. The people who were responsible for the USN's torpedoes were another group enjoying themselves ... until a submarine skipper based in Western Australia did a test firing of inert torpedoes and sent the results back to the States ...
