  1. Those graduates with paper degrees, l ask them: do they have any working experience? WIthout any working experience, those paper are useless. The first question l ask: what were your previous work experience? What were your responsibilites, how did you overcoming challenges in your work place, how did you manage mulitply task, etc. Can these answers be found in textbook or univiersity paper. One can only truely answer those questions with experience. Heck, l will hire a graduate that worked that Mcd or starbucks. Those are REAL work experience. I WILL NOT hire any recent graduate or BA or MA with NO prior working experience.

  2. THe problem everyone is perusading the same thing; study hard for 12 yrs, after school classes, reading books during extra time: ALL wasted. Tell me, how do you univ readingbooks/paper/project = earn money in the real world?

After l graduate university I have worked at -2x summer camp; seasonal -clothing store during High school yrs, part time -2 summers working at an amusement park; both cook and rides operator -voluteer as a TA during 3rd and 4th year at uni. I challenge ANY recent graduate on my "accomplishments" /CV Too bad these uni put too much pride on their paper. BA this, MA that. GLad their papers are useless.

  4. "Not everyone should go to uni." "Not everyone can get good jobs" I knew when l graduate, my job prospects were limited, because there too many teachers in my city. Many wanted to teach because it is a "forever job." I knew wn't have a change, other than becoming a sub teacher, bouncing from job to job. WHat is the point, lm just a sub. I can't make a difference in children's life by bouncing. But when l came to China, it was SO easy for me to find job: training center =easily, especially with teaching degree Bilingual/International schools: a bit more difficult because the BENEFITS are HUGE and salary are 1.5x -2x compared to TC (training centers-less benefits and less salary). AND you can easily do side gigs as a teacher, charging 500-1500/hr on weekends. The best part is, you don't need to find students, student's parents will find you. ANd when parents ask you for extra help with their kid's English, you will know they are desperate and can charge then easily 1000/hour. AND these parents are generous, they will open their deep pockets. SOme parents will even give red pockets to teachers during PTC before the CNY, from couple of thousand to 10s of thousands. Depending on the school, some has policy aganist this, and other school doesn't care! Because some school themselves also give red pocket to teachers as their bonus, saying it is from the parents/investors/school board, etc
